What Is Hyacorp Body Filler?

Hyacorp is a hyaluronic acid filler made for use on the body rather than the face. The hyaluronic acid it contains is not of animal origin and is cross-linked so that it stays in the tissue longer. No surgery is involved: the body filler is placed under the skin with a fine cannula.

Hyaluronic acid is a water-binding substance found naturally in the body. Hyacorp contains the same basic substance as facial fillers, but its larger particles are designed to support volume over wider areas.

It is used to balance volume loss or hollows in specific areas. It is not a weight-loss or body-reshaping method and should not be expected to match surgery; suitability and expectations are discussed at examination. For filler types in general, see dermal fillers.

What Areas Can Hyacorp Be Used On?

The Hyacorp range has two main types, chosen according to the size of the area and the tissue:

  • Hyacorp MLF1: Smaller particles. Used for mild corrections in small areas such as around the knees, the calves and the backs of the hands.
  • Hyacorp MLF2: Larger particles. Used where more volume is needed, such as the buttocks and the hollows at the sides of the hips (hip dips).

The product and amount are decided at examination based on the area, skin thickness and fat tissue; not every area or person is suitable. The examination usually looks at:

  • Local hollows: A noticeable dip at the side of the hip or on the leg.
  • Volume difference: Volume loss in one area compared with its surroundings; see also body asymmetry correction.
  • Preference to avoid surgery: A wish to consider a non-surgical option.

With significant excess weight, marked skin laxity or a wish for a large change in volume, body filler is usually not appropriate, and other methods or a surgical assessment may be needed.

Body filler is not used for skin surface concerns such as cellulite and stretch marks; see cellulite treatment and stretch mark treatment.

How Is Hyacorp Body Filler Done?

At examination, your health, medications, allergies and previous procedures are reviewed and the correction is planned. If you take blood thinners, say so beforehand. Your doctor will decide whether aspirin and supplements that may increase bruising, such as high-dose omega-3 and vitamin E, should be paused.

  1. The area is marked and the skin is cleaned with an antiseptic solution.
  2. Local anesthetic is applied to the entry points.
  3. The filler is placed in controlled amounts under the skin or into the fat layer with a fine cannula.
  4. Even distribution in the tissue is checked and the entry points are closed.

Depending on the area and amount, the procedure usually takes 30–60 minutes. It is carried out by a doctor under sterile conditions at the clinic in Nişantaşı, Istanbul. Most people return to their routine the same day but avoid heavy activity for the first days.

Hyacorp Aftercare and Side Effects

Swelling, tenderness and bruising are expected and usually ease within a few days to a few weeks. Your doctor will give you specific advice:

  • First 24 hours: Keep the area dry and avoid heavy exercise.
  • First week: Stay away from Turkish baths, saunas and very hot environments.
  • First days: Avoid prolonged pressure on the treated area.

Possible side effects and risks include:

  • Common: Swelling, pain, bruising and redness.
  • Irregularity and firmness: Filler collecting in one spot may cause a lump that can be felt or an uneven surface.
  • Migration: Filler may shift away from the planned area over time.
  • Infection: Rare, but requires treatment.
  • Blocked blood vessel: Very rare and needs urgent treatment.

If you notice increasing pain, redness, warmth, fever or a change in skin color, contact your doctor without delay.

A follow-up visit once swelling settles checks distribution and any irregularity; any touch-up is discussed only after the tissue has fully settled. If you later need another procedure or imaging in the treated area, tell the doctor involved about the filler.

How Long Does Hyacorp Last?

Hyacorp is a temporary filler. Hyaluronic acid is gradually broken down by the body, and the treated area slowly returns to its previous state. The effect usually lasts between 18 and 24 months.

The main factors that affect duration are:

  • Treated area: Filler may fade sooner in areas that move a lot or are under pressure.
  • Amount and product: The type of product and the amount used affect duration.
  • Metabolism and lifestyle: Intense exercise and a fast metabolism may shorten the effect.

When the effect fades, a new treatment may be planned if you wish, based at examination on the area’s current state and its response to the previous treatment.

Does Hyacorp body filler hurt?

Under local anesthetic, mild pressure and tightness are usually felt. The area may be tender for a few days, which varies from person to person and usually eases with cold compresses.

It is not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or when there is an active infection or skin condition in the area. It is not recommended for people allergic to hyaluronic acid or local anesthetic, or for those with a bleeding disorder or uncontrolled autoimmune disease. If the area has recently had laser or a deep peel, treatment waits until healing is complete.

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved if needed with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is also planned by a doctor after examination. The enzyme itself may have side effects.

Volume is visible straight after the procedure. Because of swelling in the first days, though, the final appearance usually becomes clear within a few weeks. The result is reviewed at your follow-up visit.

Yes; the season alone is not an obstacle. In the first week, though, sunbathing, the sea, swimming pools, Turkish baths and saunas are not recommended. If there is bruising, keep the area out of direct sun during this time.
